A team has begun planning for the transition from our current sanctuary to the new one. Each Sunday in October will be special as we “Celebrate the Journey,” honoring our history and heritage in our old sanctuary, transitioning into the new one, and glorifying God in our new worship space.
Our current plan for the Sundays in October is:
October 3: World Communion Day - in old sanctuary
October 10: Remembering our Journey - in the old sanctuary
October 17: The Journey (Transition): We will start in old and process to new.
October 24: Celebrating our Blessings: in the new sanctuary
October 31: Dedication Sunday: in the new sanctuary
The team assembled to plan these services includes: Dan Holloway, Jeannie Bickett, Patsy Black, Bo Palmer, Patrick White, Jessie Little, Sandy Rea, Barbara Bowden, Paulette Little, Steve Hardy, and Robin Morris. Please feel free to contact any team member to discuss thoughts you have about our transition into the new sanctuary.
Also, we plan to hold an Open House on Sunday, November 14. On this afternoon, we will invite friends and neighbors from the community and presbytery to join us in celebrating the new addition to our campus.
