One Day Music and Worship Workshop at Montreat

Montreat is hosting “A Day with John Bell” on Friday, October 8, 2010. Join John Bell of the Iona Community in Scotland for a full day of music at Montreat! This day-long exploration includes a Big Sing, looking at how song shapes what we believe, the Bible and music, and how song penetrates our personal spiritual journey. Workshops begin at 9:45 AM and end at 3:15 PM. This is a great opportunity to join Unity’s worship and music leaders in learning and experiencing congregational singing at its best. We plan to register and participate together as a group. Everyone is welcome! Ability to sing well is not a requirement. The cost for the program is $35, and the cost for lunch is $10. The Worship and Music Ministry team has funds available to pay $25 toward the cost for the first 12 people who register. Please register by signing up on the list in the choir room or by contacting Jeannie Bickett at pjbickett@unityfortmill.org or at 547-5543.
