Mission of Congregational Care Ministries

To coordinate pastoral care within the church.
Our responsibilites include:
August 4, 2006 - 
  • Visits to homebound members
  • Preparing meals for members in need
  • Sending birthday cards to our seniors
  • Sending notes and cards to those who are ill or bereaved
  • Care Teams
  • Transportation Teams
  • Prayer Chains (telephone and email)
  • Hospital Visitation Team
Some of the events we coordinate:

  • Congregational Dinners
  • Fifth Sunday Breakfasts
  • Ice Cream Social
  • Annual Churchwide Picnic
  • Supper Clubs which meets in homes or restaurants

The Congregational Care Team works closely with our Associate Pastor Jeannie Bickett to continue quality care for our members.  There are many opportunities to share your talents while providing for the pastoral needs of others in our congregation.  If you feel like you are being called to join us in this important ministry or if you would like more information, please contact Jeannie at the church office 803-547-5543.  She would love to hear from you.
